Head’s
Welcome
I have to confess that I feel very fortunate to be introducing staff at the end of the year. Among those, Tracey Hazell deserves
the yearbook for a school as busy as Millfield Prep when I have special mention. Her unwavering commitment to Millfield Prep,

values that you, the children, display on a daily basis. So whether you are a pupil, parent or member of staff, I do hope
that you enjoy reading this yearbook and that it brings back

the amazing things that took place this year. And one day, as I
have done regularly throughout my life, you may pick up this
book years from now and a smile will be brought to your face as
you flick through the pages and remember something brilliant
and wonderful that happened. It is my sincere hope that you will
reminisce on a time at school that was full of fun, smiles and
laughter – just the way it should be.
This year has certainly seen a return to a much more normal
routine as we have emerged slowly out of the trials and
tribulations of COVID. As is always the case, schools only work
because of the incredible commitment of the adults who are
part of the community. So please allow me a moment to thank
all those staff, across every area of school life, whose hard work
has enabled all the amazing things to happen that have now
become the content of this yearbook; without them, the pages
would be empty. Inevitably we said goodbye to some of those
