OHIO CDL TRAINING PROGRAM
The Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Training Program pro- vides a tax credit to help lessen the financial burden of CDL training costs. The program gives employers the opportunity to upskill current and future employees in today’s high-demand in- dustry.
The program offers tax credits up to $3 million per year for cal- endar years 2023 through 2026. Employers can apply for tax credits for half of approved training expenses, up to $25,000 in tax credits. Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a first- come, first-served basis.
