BFAAM hosted its annual con- ference in October at the Dou- bleTree Hotel in Novi. Among our several guests was Wendy Block who serves as the Senior Vice-President of Business Ad- vocacy for the Michigan Cham- ber of Commerce.
Ms. Block gave the attendees a “lay of the land” as it relates to politics in Michigan and cov- ered an array of topics that are currently being proposed in the Michigan Legislature...many of which could/will impact your business.

MIOSHA OFFERS UPDATE TO CONFERENCE ATTENDEES
The other regulatory update at the annual conference came from Tarah M Kile, Division Di- rector, Consultation Education at MIOSHA and Adrian Bertini, Onsite Safety Consultant at MI- OSHA. They updated attendees on 2022 accomplishments and successes, significant cases, stra- tegic goals, emphasis programs and special initiatives.
