Paramount In house training maths and science by Mentari Books

Paramount School and Mentari
Book held the In House Training
Maths and Science by the theme
“Teaching of Fraction” for math
teachers and “Utilizing Experiment
to Practice Process Skill and
Deepen Understanding of Science
Concept” for science teacher. The
training was participated by the
Principal and also teachers which the subject conducted. And mentored by
Ms. Hazel T. Victoria, a trainee from Philipine.
The first session is Math which was started at 08.00-11.30 am, at that
time teachers are focused to strengthen about the concept of fraction. Start
from the general trick to teach fraction until the attractive and effective
method to teach fraction to the students. The second session was after lunch
time, it was started 01.00 until 04.00 pm. The second session discussed about
science. In this session Ms. Hazel gave more lesson about practicing the
experiment. The participants/teachers very enthusiast practicing many
experiment mention by Ms. Hazel.
In every training which is held by Mentari Books, the concept and
teaching method has been adjusted with the Generation Z characteristic.
Generation Z has a better understanding or concept about technology and
also they themselves have more access to
get the information. So that’s why using
the website or social media to understand
about maths and science by practicing is
very meaningful and useful to raise the
quality of learning process.
