IX. Compliance Report
STRENGTHS:
1. Exemplary dedication and commitment of faculty in performing their works
and assignments is quite commendable.
2. The presence of qualified core faculty in the BSIT program based on standards
set by CHED, civil service and PASUC is very evident.
3. Faculty members continuously pursue graduate and post graduate studies.
4. Regular faculty evaluations manifest very satisfactory teaching competence
of faculty members.
5. The University Personnel Selection Board implements selection criteria and
processes effectively.
AREAS NEEDING IMPROVEMENT
1. Only permanent faculty members are granted scholarship privileges under
provisions of the University Faculty and Staff Development Program.
2. The faculty members engaged in the BSIT program lack certifications issued
by Information Technology certifying bodies such as Philnits, Oracle,
Microsoft, etc.
3. Recognition of exemplary and selfless performance and/or contribution of
faculty towards university development is not made.
4. Few researches relevant to the program were conducted by the faculty
members are conducted.
5. Only few instructional materials and learning modules for the institution were
developed by the faculty members.
6. Faculty members engaged in tutorial classes to accommodate lacking
subjects of graduating students are not compensated.
7. Limited number of training, seminars, symposia, and conventions was
attended by faculty members.
