Welcome from the Polemarch
Greetings as the Polemarch of the Southfield Alumni Chapter it is an honor and a privilege to
participate in our 2022 Kappa League Virtual Scholarship Event. We are excited about another year of
helping young men and women achieve their goals.
Southfield Alumni Chapters Kappa League Program was established to help young men in high school
age to develop leadership skills and so much more. Throughout the Kappa League year there are
numerous activities that focus on team building and communication skills. Over the past decade
Southfield Alumni Chapter’s Kappa League has consistently been recognized as one of the in best
country. It takes a village to ensure that this program is a success and fulfills its mission of helping
today’s youth. I would like to thank the members of Kappa Alpha Psi who serve as Kappa League
Advisors, Devin Jackson, Richard Smart, Gregory Whiting, Brian Cullins Jon King, Arron Parks and many
others.
Over the past 31 years Southfield Kappa Foundation awarded nearly $920,000 in scholarships since its
Inception. We want to thank Keith Way our foundation president for continuing the great tradition of
Southfield Kappa Foundation by awarding new scholarships and providing services which help the
communities we serve. During this virtual event 27 more deserving students will be receiving $1,000
scholarships. We would like to thank our event patrons, 500 Klub Donors, Southfield Silhouettes,
Fraternity Brothers , Family and Friends for their continued support. Our theme this year is “Young
Leaders; Inspiring the Community, And Making An Impact” . This theme is extremely relevant during
these times. Having the ability push forward during these difficult times is paramount. It is important
that we continue to support our youth as they forge ahead to greatness. I thank you for joining us
during this wonderful occasion,
Sincerely,
Andrew Fox Jr
