Dear Readers,

During this critical situation when Pandemic Covid 19 has deluged the whole world, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to
all our warriors who selflessly served the mankind. The COVID-19 pandemic could not have been anticipated, but, in
retrospect, this crisis has given us an opportunity to usher in a new era of learning. The entire staff of Zeenat Mahal SKV
Jafrabad deserves applauds for keeping their spirits high throughout the lockdown period and reaching out to students to
keep them connected with the school.

It cannot be denied that COVID-19 & closure of schools has impacted students in lot many ways, hence, it is critical
that we are mindful of their emotional well-being. Connection, empathy, and support to students and our colleagues have
been very effective in helping them work through all complexities faced by them in relation to their social-emotional
well-being.

Amid the pandemic, Directorate of Education took a number of initiatives to support learning and well-being of children
at home. Continuous guidance and support of our visionary education minister Sh. Manish Sisodia kept all of us
motivated to continuously keep treading the path of evolution and success. Online interactions & time to time monitoring
of teaching learning activities in schools by Sh. Udit Prakash Rai, our worthy Directorate of Education not only helped
us in our further planning but also encouraged us come out with our best. Handholding by our zonal and district
authorities helped us a lot in overcoming day to day challenges. Teachers of our school diligently followed up with their
students on various initiatives like Mission Buniyaad, Happiness Classes & general parenting activities for students of
classes KG to VIII, Maths class using Khan Academy platform for students of class VIII & IX, Digital EMC classes for
IX to XII, Everyday English & Personality Development class for students of Classes X & XII, Diksha Delhi portal-
LEAD and live online classes for students of class XII & XI. Regular monitoring by Mrs. Sunita Rahi, Principal & Mrs.
Pramila Sharma , Vice Principal ensured that no child is deprived of any opportunity to learn and grow. They not only
analyzed the changing learning cultures in the school but also provided space and opportunities to teachers for
continuously upskilling and re-skilling themselves.

Our School is making a conscious effort to make sure that our children remain resilient, make best use of present
resources and stay consistent on the path of learning. We as educator shoulder the responsibility of spreading the message
in society that learning never stops as life never stops teaching. Hence, one should let go of the past, re-examine the now
and move on to the new normal.
