Just off the Fakenham road, NR21 9LF (07801-418907) the ruins of the
Augustinian Abbey are interesting and the adjacent Shops & Craft Studios are
worth a visit, as is the excellent Creake Barn Café
There is also a Farmers Market here on the first Saturday of every month
9:30am to 1 :00pm, except January.

A shopping mecca! with hardly a chain store in sight!! Clothes, hats, shoes,

Burnham Overy Staithe, PE31 8JF is the home of the dinghy racing Overy
Staithe Sailing Club (01328-730961) Crabs obligingly congregate by the quay if
required. If this all sounds far too maritime, you could simply take a walk along
some of the coastal paths.
Explore the birthplace of Lord Nelson - 1.5 miles approx.
Burnham Thorpe, PE31 8HL Born on the 28th September 1758, son of the local
rector, developed his nautical inclination at Burnham Overy Staithe and
unfortunately 'met his maker' at Trafalgar in 1805.
