Best of Dinheiro Rural – Awarded champion in the Meatpacking Plants category given by Edi- tora Três, highlighting companies that are inter- connected directly or indirectly into the field in which they apply the best financial and corporate management practices to their business.
Best in Agribusiness – Awarded by Globo Rural magazine, in partnership with Serasa Experian, under the category Beef Industry.
British Brazilian Awards 2017 – Award received during Think Brazil, held by the British Consul- ate in London (England). The goal is to strength- en the partnership between the United Kingdom and Brazil in various sectors, bringing together representatives from Brazilian and British com- panies that invest in Brazil.
Biggest and Best – The event by Exame magazine elects the biggest companies in 20 sectors of the national economy, awarding Minerva Foods as the Best in Agribusiness.
Companies that Best Communicate with Jour- nalists – Promoted by the Center for Commu- nications Studies (Cecom) and Negócios da Comunicação magazine, the award included Minerva Foods among the three winners in the Meat Agroindustry category. The award recog- nizes quality in the relationship maintained with journalists regarding access, availability and ease in verifying information.
Certifications
BRC Food – Global Standard for Food Safe- ty – Created by the British Retail Consortium, it is the strictest food production standard in Europe, establishing quality and safety stan- dards for food production. Minerva holds cer- tification for the following units: Barretos and José Bonifácio (SP), Palmeiras de Goiás (GO), Janaúba (MG), Várzea Grande (MT), Rolim de Moura (RO), Frigomerc (Paraguay), Carrasco and Pul (Uruguay).
Angus Brasil – An initiative of the Certified Angus Meat Program, through a partner- ship between the Brazilian Angus Associa- tion and the meatpacking industry, it attests to high-quality meat production, from Angus cattle and their crossbreeds.
Angus Paraguay – Certification from Uru- guay’s National Meat Institute (INAC), assuring compliance with the highest standards required by the European Union.
