  Ethical culture 102-17
Minerva Foods believes that the sustain- ability of its business depends on an ethical corporate culture aligned with the highest standards, permanently disseminated and assimilated by employees in every internal area and at every level.
In order to achieve this level of excellence, we maintain two instruments: the Code of Ethical Conduct and the Employee Manual. The former covers the basic internal prin- ciples for relationships with stakeholders, management and respect for all aspects of sustainability. It provides guidance on re- porting instances of noncompliant conduct within the Company.
The Employee Manual provides workers with information on Minerva’s history, la- bor relations, job duties, quality control, property security, rules for access, use of technology and general guidelines.
These documents are given to everyone upon hire, at which time a presentation is shown on the company and an assessment is done of the new employee’s understand- ing in relation to the many topics covered.
