MANAGEMENT
Operations and activities at Minerva Foods are done using the most modern procedures and equipment to optimize the use of natural re- sources. The Company complies with the legal requirements applicable to its operations by the means of instruments for the adept management of solid waste, liquid effluents and atmospheric emissions at all units. For the management and control of operations, supervisors use Logbook, a data tool in conjunction with an action plan gen- erator with all data being compiled so as to main- tain the monitoring and control of operations at a single location. 103-2 | 103-3
  Logbook
This resource is used to monitor:
• Technical data on each unit and effluent treat-
ment systems
• Environmental licensing information, per-
missions for water use, discharge of treat- ed liquid effluents and attend to the tech- nical constraints
• Monitoring of environmental KPIs (Key Per- formance Indicators): water consumption, generation of effluents, liquid effluent quality, receiving body quality, operational costs and revenues, recovery of oils and fats in physi- cal-chemical treatment systems
• Performance charts (dashboards)
• Control of solid waste generation and disposal
• Control of chemical products used in physi-
cal-chemical treatment systems
• Control of biological products used in treat-
ment systems
• Control of daily parameters of settleable solids
