O plano de investimentos para 2017 de R$ 1,83 bilhão pretende aplicar R$ 1,11 bilhão em iniciativas de manutenção, incluindo operações florestais e industriais, na fabricação de tissue e lignina, que representa mais um passo no objetivo da Suzano de diversificar o retorno da base de ativos. Os demais R$ 720 milhões serão utilizados na construção de duas linhas de tissue, sendo uma na Unidade Mucuri (BA) e a segunda, em Imperatriz (MA), e de uma linha de produção de lignina,
na Unidade Limeira (SP). O desgargalamento da Unidade Imperatriz também será concluído neste ano, assim como a ampliação e modernização da estação de tratamento de efluentes (ETE) e a instalação de um novo cristalizador na Linha
2, ambos na Unidade Mucuri. The investment plan for 2017 of R$ 1.83 billion intends to invest R$ 1.11 billion in maintenance initiatives, including forestry and industrial operations, in the manufacture of tissue and lignin, which represents another step in Suzano’s objective of diversifying the asset base return. The remaining R$ 720 million will be used in the construction of two tissue lines, one at the Mucuri Unit (BA) and the second at Imperatriz (MA), and a lignin production line at the Limeira Unit (São Paulo State). The debottleneck of the Imperatriz Unit will also be concluded this year, as well as the expansion and modernization of the effluent treatment plant (ETE) and the installation of a new crystallizer in Line 2, both at the Mucuri Unit.
