Year 6 Transition Visit
On November 15th, we welcomed the Year 6’s to the Middle School with their first transition visit. Students used this time to see the Automotive Centre and Tech Studies rooms and to ask questions. The evening allowed parents and new families to tour Harvest’s different facilities and ask questions as they prepared for their children to join the Middle School.
Ingenuity 2022
On November 11th, a group of Harvest’s Year 10 and 11 Science students travelled to the Adelaide Convention Centre to experience Ingenuity 2022, the annual flagship event for the University of Adelaide’s Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences. Our students engaged with an interactive showcase of university student projects exploring real-life applications of STEM disciplines and had the opportunity to discuss STEM pathways with current university students.
Harvest Year 12 graduate, Tiana Rudd, completed the final project for her Creative Arts folio in Week 4. She created a picture book-style mural in the tunnel of the nature playground.
The scene is set in a lake and includes aspects of Australian flora. Harvest students can interact with and enjoy the mural in the nature play garden during recess and lunch.
