School-Based Traineeships
At Harvest Christian College, we encourage
some of our students to undertake School-
Based Traineeships/Apprenticeships and other VET options, which are excellent alternative pathways for students to achieve their SACE. During the year, Bella Donald and Ella Balfour have been undertaking Certificate III in Individual Support and completing work placement to work towards a career in aged care. An opportunity was presented to our college for students to
take up a school-based traineeship with Estia Health, Kadina. After being offered the chance to apply, both girls went through the interview process and successfully secured a school-based traineeship. We congratulate them and thank Estia Health for working with us to provide this excellent opportunity for our students.
