Coming SOON! Digital 3D Scanning
Think FARO and Total Stations – on a cost-effect, accurate, and mobile scale. We are in the
process of completing this specialized training, which will fully complement our Forensic
Photography, 360 / Spherical Photography, and Drone Photography. Models can be exported
for use in CAD and other programs – including Cloud Compare, FARO, Leico and others for
forensic / crime scene programs, and provide accurate measurements. We look forward to
offering this service in April, and will provide more details in our newsletter and webpage,
linked above.
Using LiDAR technology, the scans provide accurate measurements and full 3D imaging. Very cost-effective, capture
time takes minutes for smaller areas and individual items of evidence, and less than 30 minutes for larger areas –
including vehicle interiors and exteriors with accuracy. Reconstructed scenes can be captured before and after setup for
full details and perspective. These scans take minutes, plus post-processing time. Post-processing time varies depending
on the scene and client needs.
Coming SOON! Drone / UAV Photography and Videography
We are in the process of completing our training, and required FAA licensure
for Drone / UAV services. With the growing need to capture focused and large
areas using aerial photography and videography, we look forward to offering
this service next month, and will provide more details in our newsletter and
website, linked above.
Very cost-effective, capture time takes minutes for a large outdoor area, and
less than 30 minutes for capturing details of these large areas. Reconstructed scenes can be captured before and after
setup for full details and perspective. From properties and buildings, to intersections and other areas of reported events
and crimes, its covered. This is particularly important when documenting scenes with other photography and
videography methods.
All of our photographic and video services are fully mobile, and available at any location. As with all
investigative protocols, a combination of services is most often best for accurately documenting scenes and
evidence. Each technique involves specialized equipment, and focused initial and continuing training.
All photography and videography assignments include:
1) Assignment Report and Photography / Video Log;
2) Original Files and Duplicate Files Renamed to the Assignment; and
3) Contact Sheet of All Photographs with Name, Date & Time Stamp.
Scene Diagrams are completed as appropriate.
