Understanding Medicolegal Conclusions - AFI-LLC Newsletter December 2020
As we did in 2020, for 2021 we are continuing to move forward – we have never stalled in the brackish idle and still
waters of uncertainty. We have always continued moving to fresher and cleaner waters. We have always encouraged
and practiced personal responsibility and mutual respect, caring for our at risk, our families, and our businesses. The
continued and exacerbated consequences to individuals and families of all ages, businesses of all types, and society –
including our judicial system – is untenable. If the goal is to protect lives – this includes from the consequences.
Understanding a Medicolegal Conclusion in Death or Serious Bodily Injury
Cause and Manner is not exclusive to death investigations. Similar processes and findings are used in SBI cases, and also
civil and criminal cases, fire investigations, motor vehicle collisions, and more. Understanding these two components,
and their differences, is necessary to understanding the roles of involved investigators and experts.

FREE Training Video (December only)
>> Private Investigator and Attorney Ethics
Each month one of our core training videos is FREE to view or listen to as a podcast. This training video is available FREE
in December only at http://freevideo.InvestigativeCourses.com
• Understand the ethics of private investigations - as an investigator, consumer or client.
• Ethics are professional standards that investigators must follow, particularly if retained by an attorney as their
agent. A violation of ethics can be harmful to a case or relationship, and professional licensure can be disciplined for
a violation. For these reasons, it is important all parties to the relationship are aware and guided by these ethics.
