This Month – Celebrating 31 Years Together and 35 Years Serving Clients!
October brings a special time for us – Dean started our agency on 10/01/1987 with
Karen joining in 1996; and we met on 10/15/1991. We are committed to each other
and our family, and also our agency and clients.

Our journey together started with a by chance
motorcycle ride Dean tagged along with a
roommate to visit his mom at her gift shop. There
was Karen, also visiting. We struck up a short
conversation, and later were ‘set up’ by Dean’s
Summer 1992 roommate and mom. Our story for the next over 30
years has been filled with smiles and fun,
tribulations and challenges, success and supporting each other in the best and most
trying of times.

2021 ended, and 2022 began, with several family challenges and losses– from Dean’s
dad hospitalized a few times to their loving Min-Pin Jocee aging. In November Dean’s
Mom passed away, then in January Karen’s mom did. During this time his dad
continued to have health issues and we had to say goodbye to Jocee in March.

We are thankful for an incredible 31 years and know our journey together, and as a
family, has so many memories which have given some comfort. We are very proud of
our family – two daughters (Jeberly and Winter), and each blessing us with two
awesome grandkids (Jeberly – Jacee, 13 & Lincoln 6; and Winter – identical twins Gage
& Cash 13). If you see us, just ask about them and we will share some pretty awesome

To think our family started by a chance meeting to become lifetime soulmates,
growing with daughters in strong careers and grandkids who bring the greatest times
of joy. Our agency started with no experience, business cards, answering machine and
beeper – to all we have accomplished and our passion. Thank You to our clients and
colleagues for being our success, and part of our journeys!
