Evidence Photomicrography
Our agency is the among the only private agencies in Colorado to offer this unique
service. First introduced to the Larimer County County Coroner’s Office in early 2008.
What is Evidence Photomicography? It is the observation, inspection, and high-resolution
photographic and video documentation of evidence magnified up to 180x with resolution
to less than 1.7 microns. There is also a limited range of integrated UV and IR light.
For civil and criminal litigation, we can inspect the evidence onsite and document details difficult or unseen by the
human eye. These high resolution photographs can be further examined by a Subject Matter Expert, including ourselves
as appropriate, for and to document evidence from toolmarks to bloodstains, from clothing to weapons and vehicles –
because its completely mobile.
