Effectively Treating the Body
Notice that if the extracellular matrix is clogged up,
both nutrients and pharmaceutical drugs have a more
difficult time reaching the cells. The cells also are
surrounded by toxins and wastes.
Stop and think about this. What will this do to your
health over time? What will this do to your quality of
life?
To effectively treat any medical condition, you must
treat BOTH the cells and the extracellular matrix which
surrounds the cells. Anything that is damaging to the
cells must be removed. The cells must receive the
nutrients and signals so that they can recover and work
efficiently and as harmoniously as possible with the rest
of the body.
This is the focus of acupuncture and Chinese herbal
medicine. Conventional western medicine, for all of its
strengths, ignores the extracellular matrix and because it
does so, the cells have a difficult time recovering and
the medical condition persists or even possibly worsens.
