Ms. Becky Says………….

This school year has been an exciting journey of learning, exploration, and growth in Grades 3 and 4! Through our IPC units—Building a Village, Roots, Shoots and Fruits, Fascinating Forces, Existing, Endangered, Extinct,
and Earth as an Island—we’ve explored the world around us in creative and meaningful ways. We designed model villages, studied plants and their life cycles, experimented with forces in motion, and investigated endangered
animals and their habitats. We also dove into geography and sustainability by examining how people live on islands and how to care for the Earth. In science, we explored simple machines and even built our own using everyday
 materials!

Our learning extended beyond the classroom through exciting field trips and hands-on experiences. Visiting a real village helped us understand how communities work, while our trip to Guma Dam showed us how water is
managed and why it matters. One of the highlights of our year was caring for our school farm. We planted and harvested crops, took care of our chickens, and collected fresh eggs—learning responsibility, teamwork, and the
importance of sustainability along the way. These real-life experiences made our learning come alive and gave us memories we’ll never forget.

Each week, our classroom newsletter kept families connected with what we were learning and celebrating. From academic highlights to student shoutouts and upcoming events, we shared our journey with pride. It’s been a
year filled with discovery, laughter, growth, and friendship. We are so proud of everything we’ve accomplished and are excited for the adventures ahead!
