English and Social Studies (Grades 5-8)

Described by students as an interesting year not unlike a rollercoaster ride! Like the many books students read throughout the year in ELA, the school year had many unforgettable plot twists. In social studies students
travelled the world learning about different cultures and religions and histories. They wrote many paragraphs, and a couple essays, but despite being challenging, the verdict is that, "we learned a lot and the year was
enjoyable!" Inside and outside the classroom, friendships were formed, tested, and strengthened. The year was crazy, it went by fast, the students loved it, but they unanimously exclaim, "We can't wait for summer break!"
