‘Web-based Training Workshop on Ethics in Human-Participant Research”

July 26 - 30, 2021

With the initiative of the University President, Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino,
the Philippine Social Science Council conducted a 5-day webinar on Ethics in

Human-Participant Research, co-hosted by University Professional Development
and Training Institute and Health Innovation Center on July 26 - 30, 2021. This
training workshop was successful dute to the unending support of the university
Officials, Dr. Orlando P. Balderama the Vice President for Research and
Development, Extension and Training; Atty. Romano P. Cammayo, the Vice
President for AFS; and Dr. Boyet L. Batang, the Vice President for ARA.

The participants of the said webinar, training and worshop were the:

a) Faculty from Medical and Allied Health, Social Sciences, and
Educations field;
b) Active researchers
c) Campus Research Directors from different campuses and extension of
the university

The Speakers of the said webinar, training and worskshop are the
following:

a) Dr. Amaryllis T. Torres, Professor Emeritus, University of Philippines
b) Ms. Stella P. Go, Faculty of De La Salle University Integrated School

Convenor, Philippine Migration Research Network.
c) Dr. Almond Pilar N. Aguila, Founder of Our eLearning Strategy PH; also
a member of PSSC Social Science Ethics Review Board.
d) Dr. Ma. Carinnes P. Alejandria, Assistant Professor of the University of
Santo Tomas.

Among the participants during the webinar is the Dean of the College of
Nursing, Prof. Edmelyn B. Cacayan, RN, MSN and other faculty of CON.
