Description of Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) program
The end-of-program student learning outcomes:
Enhance patients’ full engagement in a holistic and culturally congruent care
that focuses on patient’s perspective to promote wellness across the
lifespan.
Employ effective communication strategies in intra-and inter- professional
team collaboration to deliver comprehensive high-quality care.
Appraise, extend, and apply the existing body of scientific knowledge, in the
area of practice.
Compose plans to continuously manage the quality of nursing care on a
micro and macro level in health system
Develop risk management systems that result in prompt planning for
minimizing the risk and hazards to self and others at all levels and
contingencies
Utilize the contemporary information technology to support improvement
and decisions in ethical clinical and administrative performance.
Integrate the leadership knowledge and skill in implementing the role of
clinical nurse specialist, nurse educator, or nurse administrator.
The program is full time and can be completed in one of two paths:
Courses only path with capstone research project (42 credit hours)
Courses with thesis (38 credit hours)

Nursing Management
Pediatrics nursing
Maternity nursing
Midwifery
Psychiatric and mental health nursing
Community nursing
Primary healthcare nursing
