Lee Hall was completed in 1928 and later dedicated in honor of John Robert E. Lee, who served as the third president of Florida A&M
College. Lee Hall was one of the homes of the music department and bands during the early years until the Foster-Tanner Fine Arts
Complex was completed in 1968. Jackson Davis Hall, located directly south of Lee Hall, also contained office space for William P. Foster
when he served as chairman of the music department and band director.
