“Kau terlalu sombong, Ron!” tegur Eri.

“Tak usah kau menasihatiku, Eri! Aku berjanji akan membawa
pulang piala itu untuk kalian,” balas Ron sombong.

Hari perlombaan pun tiba. Ron terbang melintasi bukit dan lembah
sebelum akhirnya tiba di hutan. Alun­alun hutan disesaki peserta
lomba.

Hewan­hewan itu tak sabar ingin menunjukkan bakatnya. Ada
hewan yang bersuara rendah. Ada juga hewan yang bersuara tinggi.

Seperti Oti, si Katak.

“Krook... Kroot... Krook… Kroot… Krook… Kroot...!!”

“You’re too cocky, Ron!” Eri reminded him.

“Don’t tell me what to do, Eri! I promise I will bring home the cup
for you guys.” Ron replied arrogantly.

It was the day of the competition. Ron flew over the hills and slopes until

he reached the woods. The square was filled with the participants.

All of them couldn't wait to show off their talents. Some of them

had lower voices, while others had higher voices such as Oti the
Frog.

“Ribbit… Ribbit… Ribbit… Ribbit… Ribbit… Ribbit…!!”
