EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE 2016 E Awards Gala!
James Mining Tonight is one of the most exciting nights of the Dallas/Fort
Worth Minority Supplier Development Council. The E Awards
D/FW MSDC Chair Gala recognizes the top suppliers and buying entities that make
a significant impact upon our North Texas economy through the
SOeNnCioOrRDirector Supply Chain engagement of minority-owned businesses.
Margo J. Posey It has been my distinct privilege and honor to serve as the 2016
Chairman of the Board of the Directors for the Council and to
President work with such distinguished individuals committed to making minority-inclusion a part of
D/FW MSDC their everyday business practices. The Council's mission is to encourage and facilitate
procurement and business opportunities between buying entities and certified minority
John J. Lozano business enterprises and to grow minority business revenues. Both my corporation and I
strongly believe in this mission. We care about the communities and people we serve. Our
1st Vice Chair commitment to the community is real and part of that commitment is supplier diversity. It

Rob Simpson The Council's mission is just as important today as it was when the Council was created in
1973. The Board of Directors is committed to the development and implementation of

Procurement & Logistics buying decision or buying a product/service must be aware of the importance of supplier

Mark Artigues Good programs, like good intentions, do not happen overnight. As one of my mentors
conveyed to me, “This doesn't happen by itself. If it's going to happen, you have to make it
Secretary happen.” Tonight, we are recognizing those people and organizations that just make it

nominees. It is no small thing that you do. You are helping to change people’s lives and our

Treasurer Thank you to all who support the work of the Council as leaders, members, supplier

DFW International Airport you and hope you continue to be an active part of what we do. Enjoy this wonderful night
