A recent report from the Centers for Disease Con- trol and Prevention indicates that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions, including obesity, may be at an increased risk for COVID-19.
Also, new studies from this week, mentioned in a story by The New York Times, indicate that “the condition in and of itself as the most significant risk factor, after only older age, for being hospitalized with COVID-19”.
