There is more relief coming for small businesses all throughout the United States. The Senate approved this week a $484 billion package to boost compa- nies and hospitals devastated by the coronavirus pandemic and to expand testing for COVID-19. The bill went to the House on Thursday.
Who benefits from this measure?
The measure injects another $310 billion into a key loan program designed to keep employees on small business payrolls, according to CNBC. The initial $350 billion in the so-called Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), created as part of the $2 billion bailout package approved last month, ran out last week. It is unclear how many companies have ac- tually received the money.
