How many millions went to small lenders?
The bill passed on Tuesday allocates $60 billion for small lenders as part of the small business aid pro- gram. An additional $60 billion gets put small busi- ness administration disaster assistance loans and grants. It also includes $75 billion in hospital aid and $25 billion for coronavirus testing.
The bill accumulates more money in an unprece- dented government effort to alleviate an economy and health system devastated by the coronavirus outbreak. More than 22 million people applied for unemployment benefits during the last four-week period, as companies in most of the country remain closed in order to curb the spread of COVID-19.
