The occurrence of second wave unfortunately coincided with the school summer
breaks leaving the parents in dilemma of how to keep the children occupied. with
no classes and socialising. Its became a daunting task for parents especially for
the ones having small kids. The biggest problem in technology age is to reduce
the screen time for children.
At such a time, the one thing that comes to rescue is art and craft. It not only
engages the child but also develops creativity and gross motor skills of the child.
The holiday activities provided by the school helped In having a sense of creation
for the child. It also engaged the child in a positive manner, encouraging him to
take up more such activities on their own. It is also a bonding time for parent and
child. We had a lot of fun doing the activities .
