          Rest in Peace

DELICIOUS COMEDY WITH AN UNEXPECTED ENDING Comedy | Cast: 4m., 3w. | One int. set
          Run time: 30 min. | Code: R14000
In this delicious comedy, a man apparently witnesses the immediate aftermath of his own
death. He’s in a hospital, and as none of his relatives can see or hear him, he decides he must
be dead. Another patient comes in and as they both see and hear each other, they decide that
both of them must be dead. What the other people say and do is not what either of the men
expected under the circumstances. It isn’t what the audience will expect either. We invite you
to enjoy this unexpected show and its especially unexpected ending. By Pat Cook.

                            Ridiculosis by Proxy

                            Comedy | Cast: 6 to 15m., 12 to 19w., 4 to 12 either gender. Doubling encouraged.
Simple set | Run time: 45 min. | Code: RD4000
This play takes on society’s innate fear of the unknown through vignettes that humorously
illustrate the lengths to which people will go in order to avoid the latest threat to their
health, whether it is real or imagined. The concept of a manufactured health crisis is the
perfect vehicle to illustrate our cultural gullibility when it comes to medicine, disease and
our predisposition for panic and irrational reaction when it comes to our well-being. By B.
                            Dwayne Craft.

          Riverview, Tape 23

          Comedy/Drama | Cast: 3w. | One int. set | Run time: 30 min. | Code: R53000
Kathy, a journalist frustrated by disappointments in her job and in her personal life, is sent
to a nursing home to interview the residents about “the good old days.” Today’s interview is
with Lydia, an uncooperative, opinionated elderly woman who entertains herself by faking
senility. Kathy’s exasperation with this blunt, uncompromising woman turns to respect,
affection and finally, that sincerest form of flattery, imitation. By Colleen Neuman.

                            Roomers

                            Comedy/Farce | Cast: 5m., 9w. | Single set | Run time: 40 min. | Code: RC7000
Roomers is a play in which madness rules with no hint of underlying black comedy or horror.
The people of this comedy are fresh, creative and unpredictable. From the avaricious
landlady who rents the pantry as a bedroom—so what if the bed has to be leaned against
the wall—to the man on the roof trying to develop homing vultures, this is a rooming house
filled with a wild assortment of characters. Each has his own problems, most of them weird
and unsolvable, and the plot is involved with trying to solve them. In short, Roomers is fun.
