➢ Explore the 3Ps - Path-Practice-Posture – as a reading template and dynamic process to support evolving practices for cultivating your soul self.
➢ Discover three essential movements that correspond to our feet, hands, and spine, bringing our soul path to life through our bodies. Yes, we will dare to get out of the chair and dance along our soul path.
➢ Have fun, recharge, and gather your energy and resources for making the most of the Readers Studio weekend ahead.
Veronica Jude has been fascinated by the cards for over twenty years, but only recently found herself in the online community which two years ago she didn’t even know existed. Her first YouTube videos were “how to” deck mod videos that her friends begged her to do after seeing all the imaginative and creative ways she
modified her decks. Inch by inch this community pulled her out of her shell to the point where one day she found herself at the Readers Studio realizing that this is her life...... this is what she was meant to do! To help others connect with the 78 in both straightforward and unconventional ways to help them see the familiar cards in a new light.
Liz Westwater has been a student of Tarot for over twenty-five years. Her first deck was the Motherpeace round deck which was her only deck for almost ten years. Liz’s study of Tarot began as part of her spiritual practice and gradually grew beyond that. Liz is also an herbalist and energy healer and sees Tarot as a
natural fit into her healing practice. Along with her herbal practice, Liz offers Tarot classes and readings on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
Designing a Two-Hour Lesson or Workshop for Beginning Tarot Students
Instructor: Cheryl Ryder
As more and more people become interested in learning tarot, the need for tarot learning groups is springing up everywhere in the world. All these hungry students need excellent teachers and learning facilitators. Some of the difficulties that new tarot students face is first, finding a tarot study group they can manage to attend; second, having their learning needs addressed, and third, feeling that their momentary lack of knowledge and/or skill isn’t going to be cause for feeling isolated and alone in the group. If you are thinking about starting or leading a tarot learning group, come to this workshop and jumpstart your confidence as a teacher or facilitator.
As the Organizer of one of the country’s fastest-growing Tarot Meetup Groups, located in Albuquerque New Mexico, Cheryl Ryder has become an expert in designing and facilitating two and three-hour tarot learning experiences that satisfy the needs of tarot students regardless of their level of experience while creating a cooperative and supportive learning environment.
At this Evening Study Group Cheryl will walk you through her thinking and planning processes, providing insights and hard- earned experiences on the Do’s and Don’ts of creating and delivering tarot classes, including ideas on how to deal with the occasional ornery student. You will receive an outline to use in your future class planning processes and handout samples from some of Cheryl’s most successful Meetup learning programs.
Cheryl Ryder is a hereditary psychic and tarotist for decades. She teaches what she calls “Common Sense Tarot” in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas of New Mexico, and for several years has been the Organizer of the Albuquerque Tarot Tribe Meetup group which has grown from a static membership of around
150 at the time of her rise to leadership to a flourishing and constantly expanding membership of 525. Cheryl conducts 2-hour meetups and multi-hour workshops with regularity and loves to teach others to become confident presenters.
