At MLY, Dengue prevention education programme was organized by ACMS/KCG and
CHI/MLY and staff on16 .10.2019

World Heart day was observed on 30.9.2019, from 10am to11 am. The theme for the year is
“BE A HEART HERO”.

Dr.Raminder Kaur ACMS/HU/KCG addressed the gathering regarding change of life style,
exercise, healthy diet, avoidance of tobacco and alcohol, causative factors of Heart
diseases, signs and symptoms and treatment modalities for prevention and early treatment.

Dr.Priya (trainee) gave a power point presentation on risk factors, treatment, prevention of
heart diseases, CPR, regular health checkups after the age of 45yrs, avoidance of smoking
and alcohol.
