To create awareness among the Road users/Public, 10,00,00,000 SMSs were sent, 4,160
Pamphlets have been distributed at level crossings, Bus stands, Auto stands, villages etc.
and 4,000 road users were counseled not to pressurize the gatemen to open the gate before
passing the train.
Observed International Level Crossing Awareness Day on 10.06.2021 to spread awareness
among road users to avoid serious accidents at level crossings.
Safety related Boards: Four Safety related Boards supplied to all the 58 stations of the
division to sensitize the safety related staff in day to day working and to ensure safe
operations of trains. Four such safety related boards supplied to each station and the
following subjects are mentioned.
1. Prevention of Yard Derailments.
2. Items to be checked during exchange of all right signals.
3. Action in case of point or signal failures.
4. Train passing documents.
