 40 HP Booster pump has been provided at KCG
station for quick watering for PF No. 1 & 2.

Analysis of power factor using Power analyzer at various pumping installations.

 A special drive conducted to study and analyze the effect of pumping load on power factor
of the system using power analyzer. Initially analyzed various parameters of GLR pump
house at Rail Nilayam which is having 2 x 15 HP centrifugal pumps and 1 x 10 HP mono
block pump and caters water supply requirement of RN building and colony area.
 From the analysis, to improve Power Factor, 10 KVAR capacitor has been provided for
compensation.
 Drive for Thermal Imaging for identification of hotspots in panels is also started from
28.04.2020

 3-Way RMU is commissioned at Laundry Substation at
Kacheguda Station.

No. of outputs: 02 - Connected to TR1 & TR2.

 70Nos. of 150W LED lights provided for yard portal lighting
at KCG Yard by Construction/SC. This resulted in increase
in connected load of 10.50kW at KCG.
