“Buy American” – Understanding What It Means And How To Comply
U.S. law is littered with various “Buy American” requirements, all of which require purchasing from domestic sources in some way or another. These “Buy American” requirements will often find their way into State and local public contracts when federal funds are being used. Anyone (even those deep in the supply chain) selling anything where a governmental entity is the ultimate end-user needs to understand the complicated web of “Buy American” requirements, and this course will help you navigate that maze.

Counterfeit Electronic Parts: Managing Supply Chain Risk for DoD Suppliers
In 2016, the U.S. Department of Defense implemented new rules to ensure that the DoD was not buying counterfeit electronic parts from its suppliers. This means that contractors face tougher obligations when it comes to managing the supply chain and fewer options when it comes to buying for the DoD. This course explains the DoD anti-counterfeiting rules and provides tips on what your company can do to better manage the supply chain risk.

  GovCon For Non- GovCon Lawyers
The U.S. Government purchases approximately $500 billion of goods and services each year. The Federal market offers significant rewards to contractors, but it brings with it serious traps for the unwary. The statutes, rules, and regulations that apply to federal contractors – and their subcontractors and suppliers – are burdensome and complex, and a failure to comply can lead to significant financial consequences. This CLE program provides an overview of the risks and rewards of federal contracting, with a specific focus on the federal statutes, acquisition regulations, and contract terms that keep in- house counsel up at night.
