Michael Quinn

Sergeant Quinn is a retired Minneapolis Police Sergeant and sole proprietor of Booksbyquinn. He has BA degree in Training and Human Development with an emphasis in criminal justice. Sergeant Quinn served from 1975 to 1999 with the Minneapolis Police Department in a variety of assignments that included uniformed patrol as an officer and supervisor, investigations, plain clothes and undercover work, and Internal Affairs. For 17 years Sergeant Quinn was a member of the Emergency Response Unit (ERU), now known as the SWAT Team. Sergeant Quinn was also assigned to the joint FBI/Minneapolis SWAT Team. His last 4 years in the department were as the Supervisor of the Minneapolis Police Academy. He also served as Deputy Director of Minnesota Police Corps Program, Court Security Officer at the Minneapolis Federal Courthouse, and Special Deputy U.S. Marshal contract guard.
Hank Stawinski

Henry P. Stawinski III, known as Hank, began his law enforcement career in 1992 with the Prince George’s County Police Department. He became the Department’s 17th Chief on February 16, 2016. Prior to his appointment as Chief, Hank was responsible for the Bureau of Patrol to which approximately 1100 of the Department’s 1700 sworn members are assigned. Hank holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College and a Master of Science in Management from The Johns Hopkins University. He is an alumnus of both the Police Executive Research Forum’s Senior Management Institute for Police and the Major Cities Chiefs Association Police Executive Leadership Institute. Hank lives in Prince George’s County with his wife of seventeen years and their daughter.
