and protection of the environment, the Government has enacted several legislated

Acts and Regulations:

• Model WHS Act 2011 - adopted by Australian Capital Territory.

• New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania

and the Commonwealth

• Western Australia: Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 1998

• Victoria: Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 2017

• WHS laws, OSH/OHS Regulations and any amendments applying in your

jurisdiction can be resourced on line.

Environment Protection Act (EPA)

• Associated Regulations

• Australian Codes of Practice

• Australian Standards
