 Octoberfest Tournaments
Come to a Close

 Another year of successful Octoberfest Tournaments have come to an end. Our Octoberfest Tournaments are held in Waterville Valley. Weekends are split up by divisions with Squirts one week, PeeWee’s the next, and lastly Bantams. We had 13 teams participating this year across the three age brackets. We  nd that our October tournaments are a good chanceforteamstogoawayearlyin the year and really bond as a group. It is also peak foliage time up in the White Mountains which makes for

In our squirt tournament, to have you back soon!
we had the Boston Jr. Huskies, Dorchester, Northern Rhode Island Vikings, and Islanders Hockey Club. The Boston Jr. Huskies would end up winning the Squirt Division Championship after many great games amongst all teams leading up to it!
For the PeeWee’s, We had the Northern Rhode Island Vikings, Western Selects, Northern Cyclones, and Concord Capitals all participating. The Western Selects
would end up facing o  against the Northern Cyclones in the  nals where it was the Western Selects being victorious with a score of 5-1.
To wrap up the Octoberfest Tournaments, we had the Bantam division which consisted of Worcester Junior Railers, Boston Jr. Rangers, Boston Jr. Huskies, Greater Boston Vipers, and the New England Stars. This tournament had some exceptional games with many being decided by only a goal or two. The Boston Jr. Rangers ended up beating the Worcester Junior Railers in a shootout in the championship game with a  nal score of 2-1.
