, born in 1985 in Tehran, is an artist who looked at waste and
discarded materials from a different perspective and was able to value what is
considered an inef cient object in the eyes of the general public. and started working
with the slogan "creating everything from nothing".
I always loved handicrafts, as well as technical chores, and since I was very interested in
welding, I started learning to weld by experiencing. After that I started learning different types of
welding and working with milling machines, and I made my sculptures with iron scraps.
You might wonder why scrap iron? The reason for this is that I was fascinated by nature since I was
a teenager; and I always thought that nature has given us so much beauty that we humans can't
even fully understand.
Think about a seed. We plant a seed in nature and some years later it becomes a tree. This means
that nature has given us the greatest and best blessings from the smallest things, and what has the
human race done for nature? Especially in recent decades with the increase in consumerism
and industrialization, humans have produced so much waste and pollution.
Plastics, industrial waste, car graveyards, etc. Of course, iron is not as destructive as plastic,
and even the most worn-out pieces of iron can be melted in a factory and recycled. But
the smoke from iron smelting factories leads to air pollution and greenhouse gases, and
as a result, more harm to nature.
So what should be done? Is there a better solution? What if we changed roles and
surprised nature by helping it? I believe It's our turn to create beauty from nothing
or shall I say from waste and ruins. Beauty that gives a new life to discarded
items, and creating attractive forms in our living environment. Items that were
only considered being crushed and melted in a factory, now can turn into
beautiful, spiritual forms. Items that together are not only beautiful but
also carry very important messages, telling us to be kinder to our
mother nature, to be less consumerist, to produce less waste, and
nally, that we can look at these disposable materials from a
more beautiful perspective.
In my opinion, this is a huge step, by turning every throwaway
item into something far more valuable and impressive.
Each piece is not only used as an art material that
creates beauty, but because of its special form, it will
carry a special message with itself. It means
combining art and creativity with industry. It
means creating many things from nothing.
And this is our gift to nature.
