A Note from the Artistic Director
Greetings!
Thank you for being with us to continue to celebrate our 30th year. As I’m typing this,
we have presented fourteen of our promised thirty events. They’ve all been unique, and
we’re looking forward to these next shows as a continuation of that theme.
February brings our 30th Anniversary Gala, featuring the show Love Songs and
Laments, a special performance by the ensemble that celebrates our friend Steve
McIntyre. Episode 5 of the long-form, structured improvised series Gemstones, plays in
late February/early March. And The Flip Side returns to Madison for a show on March
14.
By then we hope we’re welcoming spring, and with outreach shows at Union College and
Temple Emmanuel in Westfield, we will have completed nineteen performances! We’re
getting a workout, and we’re so happy to see you, and all our audience members, more
frequently.
We’re grateful to you, and look forward to every time we get to see you at the theatre.
And please bring a friend who’s never been to a Vivid show and introduce them to the
family. Thanks for being with us!
All the best,
Laura Ekstrand
