PART 2 - Question and Answer Section
Risk Assessment – RA-100 Driving Standards
This record is to be kept on the driver's file.
To assess the understanding of this risk assessment and the safe system of work (RASSoW) the driver carrying out this assessment must answer the questions correctly to
show that they have understood what is required to carry out this task safety. Any questions answered incorrectly will be explained in more detail by the person rolling
out this training. This is not a test. It's an assessment. Read the question and place A, B, C or D in the white box.
Please answer the correct question with an A, B, C or D within the white box.
Question 1 – Driving Licence. 01 code on your licence means: Question 5 – Distractions. DO NOT get detracted whilst driving. ALWAYS:
A. Concentrate on what others are doing.
A. You are a qualified driver.
B. Keep a good concentration level especially when passing parked vehicles and busses
B. You need to wear eyesight correction when driving.
C. Turn off to the right.
C. You can only drive cars.
D. You have completed your driver CPC training course. D. Keep yourself busy in the vehicle with loud music.
Question 2 – Driver cards: If you leave your driver card at home: Question 6 – Emergency Vehicles. If you see blue flashing lights coming up behind
you then don’t panic, and:
A. Look for somewhere to pull over.
A. Then you MUST return home and collect the card.
B. The card can be collected as you pass your home. B. Keep going.
C. Stop the vehicle.
C. This should be OK.
D. Keep to the right.
D. You can drive for 24 hours without the card in the tacho machine.
Question 3 – In cab electronics. All drivers are to be aware that they may use sat- Question 7 – Courteous. Do not block junctions, entrances or exits. Never tailgate
nav’s or google maps on their phones and or electronic map books: or drive recklessly, and:
A. Always keep going as long as you can.
A. But only when the vehicle is moving.
B. After they have signed a disclaimer. B. When you stop always place the tachograph on rest.
C. Never succumb to road rage.
C. Only on Motorways.
D. HOWEVER NOT on the move. D. Only do this Monday to Friday. RA-100
Question 4 – Seat Belts. All drivers who drive and work for Beauparc WILL: Question 8 – Drugs and Alcohol. All drivers are reminded that they MUST inform the Driving Standards
transport office if they are on ANY form of:
A. Wear a seatbelt. A. Weekly rest period within the UK.
B. A daily break longer than 15 minutes.
B. Drive above the speed limit.
C. Keep flashing lights in the vehicle cab. C. Prescribed Medication Review Dates:
