P. 3
Please Remember:
These routes have all been set up with the 3 words website to ensure that the driver and operation of the
vehicle is as efficient as possible whilst minimising safety, environmental and congestion impacts on the road
network. All drivers are reminded to specifically include adherence to any route scheduled by the company
planner/operator or any route authorised by a competent authority, including:
Designated routes to and from sites. Read the risk assessment (attached) also.
Permit-controlled routes, such as the London Lorry Control Scheme. Read the risk assessment also.
Notified routes for abnormal indivisible load (AIL) movements. Read the risk assessment also.
A risk assessment will be in place for designated routes to and from sites, Chicken and Turkey farms and additional
customer sites providing instructions to drivers. The risk assessment will include:
Origin, destinations and any specific hazards identified to and from the location and whilst on site.
Any route permits and approvals required.
Community considerations such as schools, hospitals, cycle routes, controlled congested areas.
The impact on working time and drivers’ hours.
Vehicle dimension and weight restrictions, particularly at bridges and wide structures.
Vehicle emissions standards and restrictions.
Parking, loading and unloading restrictions.
Any road user charging schemes or tolls.
All Beauparc professional drivers should carry bridge and width maps in their vehicle for best plan routing.
Routes should be used that minimise distance driven and fuel used, and minimise the use of routes that are
subject of local air quality exceedances.
Please Remember:
Use the what3words app when you are approximately
1 to 2 miles away from your destination.
