Driver Risk Assessment & Safe System of Work
ENSURE the plant loader driver and the
LGV driver guiding the plant onto the
trailer are both aware of the hand signals
to be used when loading & unloading
.
ENSURE you DO NOT walk backwards..
STOP the plant driver.
Turnabout and walk to your guiding position.
STOP and turn to face the plant driver.
Now continue to guide the plant driver onto
the trailer.
As the plant gets closer, Stop and repeat the
above process.
