Mid UK Recycling Driver Risk Assessment & Safe System of Work

Before starting to use the drive through wash, drivers

must ensure the area is clear of debris which could result

in Slips, trips and falls.

The correct PPE must always be worn while performing

this task.

PPE will include…..Safety boots, Hi-Vis Vest, Gloves,

Safety Eyewear & Hard Hat.

The drive through wash equipment is maintained by the

supplier, any requirement to view any of the locked

equipment will be undertaken by a supervisor/manager.

Any other faults found must be recorded, reported to the

office, locked off and taken out of use, if necessary, until
the fault is fixed.

Drivers are NOT to try and repair any faults in the wash

area. Report all faults to the office. Review Dates:
