Entry & Exit into a Vehicle Cab
Accessing the Vehicle Safely.
To enter or exit the vehicle cab safely, use three points of
contact whilst climbing. On exiting check for any other vehicle
movement in the area.
When exiting the vehicle, look down onto the ground first and
check the condition of the ground before exiting. Ensure the Check for moving plant
ground is clear of obstructions and level. If the ground is not or other vehicles
clear, then exit with great caution. prior to exiting the
vehicle cab.
When entering the vehicle. Ensure you have 3 points of
contact.
Quickly dry your hands before grabbing the handrails when HSF18
RASSoW15Q
climbing up into the cab so that you do not slip.
Walking Floor Operations
Check your boots and clean off any mud before you use the cab
steps. Review Dates:
