MY AWAKENING

I am finally starting to align myself with God’s plan, purpose, and will for me. My Joyselyn’s last note and mission

statement are prayerfully taking hold of my weakened heart. True repentance for your sins is the start of all healing
and new beginnings. I am a much stronger man today after surrendering my sinful life. I have taken my Joyselyn’s

lessons and examples to heart; her last note, last words to me. “Seek Adonai while He may be found. Pray for His plan,
purpose, and will for you”. I am seeking, praying, for His purpose and will; wanting to understand what it all means at

these late hours of my life.

It has always been a task for me to open God’s word and read. Found it so hard to concentrate, comprehend, and even

remember what I had just read. Even simple word pronunciation silent or spoken aloud was so difficult. After a prayer,
that has all changed. I now read His word aloud with understanding and conviction; it flows out of my mouth like a

song, and its lyrics powerfully saved within my heart. Only the grace of Adonai filling me with His Holy Spirit could do

such a thing. I remember listening to my Joyselyn’s voice as she read the Father’s word to me, and it always amazed
me how it so much was like that of a song. Now I understand. Worship songs hit different when you know what God

brought you through. Now my heart feels, and I can sing those victory songs.
