OBITUARY
65, husband of Mrs. Carrie Isabelle Stevens. Died suddenly on Monday. Sept. 15 at his home
near Lisbon. Born in Middletown a son of the late Edward N. and Mary Alexandria Stevens.
He was the owner of Steve & Belle's Restaurant in Damascus. He was an active member and
Sunday School Teacher at the Greenridge Baptist Church in Clarksburg and was recently

elected a church deacon.
Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Lowell F. Stevens, of Frederick. Gene M. Stevens,
Colorado, and Earle Richard Stevens, Mt. Airy, six grandchildren, two sisters Mrs.
Miriam Shoemaker, Frederick. Mrs. Eva Miller, Indian Head, and one brother, Wayne
Stevens, Hagerstown.
Friends may call at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home in Damascus on Wednesday from
3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. And at the Greenridge Baptist Church in Clarksburg on Thursday,
Sept. 18 after 1 pm. Where the Rev. Robert L. Moore will conduct services, the interment will
be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy.
Pallbearers will be:
Norman Gregg, Robert Carney, Paul Rutledge, Dave Zeller, Robert
Hazard and Don Cowherd.
In lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greenridge Baptist
