• I remember watching this house being built. Mom (Belle) was on her knees, pregnant with Richard
driving nails while I played in the large mounds of dirt with my toy trucks. The tall pine was planted
next to and in front of the right side of the house. Maybe 3 or 4 feet in height. When it reached
about 8 feet, they moved it to where you see it now.
