A CARING COMMUNITY

Langenburg belongs to former Sunrise Health Region managed by Saskatchewan
Health Authority and has great health care facilities that offer many quality
health services:
Langenburg Health Care Complex:
One full-time family doctor
Two rotating part-time family doctors
Full-time nurse practitioner
Laboratory services
X-ray
Public Health Office and visiting consulting services
Centennial Special Care Home: Level 4 facility, managed by Saskatchewan
Health Authority, with 45 long-term beds, 2 palliative beds and is the largest
employer in the town with 130 full-time and part-time employees;
"Westhaven Manor" personal care home: Level 1, 9 room facility;
Langenburg Home Care Service: It was created to assist individuals to
remain independent in their homes and have team based care. The
Langenburg service is part of the Langenburg Health Centre and employs 10
people who look after 75 nursing clients and about the same number of home
service clients. The Home Care Service also offers Meals on Wheels;
Two pharmacies: Ty's Pharmacy and Langenburg Pharmasave;
Langenburg Dental Clinic: The provincial government also operates a dental
plan in the schools which provides coverage for children from Kindergarten to
Grade 9;
Private wellness services: massage, laser therapy, meal plans, etc.;
The Langenburg and District Activity Centre: Opened in 1980, it provides
person centered support for 15 people with varying abilities. It is the second
largest employer in the town as it employs up to 40 people in the area. It also
manages three group homes, a workshop and SARCAN depots in Langenburg
and Esterhazy.

The Town of Langenburg is close to three hospitals: Russell Health Services Hospital (15 min.), St.
Anthony's Hospital, Esterhazy (30 min.), Yorkton Regional Hospital (40 min.).
